Lois “Mary” Watson, age 93 of Temperance, MI, died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in Hickory Ridge of Temperance. Born Jan. 3, 1917 in Petersburg, MI, she was the daughter of George and Emma (Bentschneider) File. A graduate of Summerfield High School, she married Robert Watson Dec. 8, 1956 in Petersburg, MI. He preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 2005. Mary was employed as a bookkeeper for the former Northtown & Richard Chevrolet in Temperance, MI and the former Fedell Chevrolet in Petersburg, MI. She was a member and past Worthy Matron of O.E.S., #208, Petersburg, MI.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 3-9 pm Friday at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Petersburg, MI. O.E.S. Services will be held Friday at 7:00 pm. Memorials may be made to Erie West Hospice. |
